Welcome to Prong Games (Officially Official)

New Name. New Chapter. Same Sharp Teeth.
Simple story: we were Big Shiny Games. Now we’re Prong Games.
Same creator. Same creative instincts. New name, new energy, fewer moving parts. Sometimes you reset, sometimes you refine, and sometimes you just sharpen the spear and move forward.
This is one of those moments.
Prong Games is me getting back to basics: focused, nimble, and unencumbered. After taking some time to reset and clear the noise, it became obvious that a clean slate was the right move. New name. New chapter. Same obsession with making sharp, playful, memorable games.
Phase 1: Retro Assault
Retro Assault is complete.
The RA Challenge turned out to be an engaging arcade experience, and the response has been awesome. People played it. People loved it. It did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Mission accomplished.
Rather than endlessly tweaking or dragging things out, it’s time to let Retro Assault stand on its own and use what worked as the foundation for what comes next.
Phase 2: GraviStar
This is where the next major push begins.
GraviStar is being built off the back of Retro Assault, taking the arcade combat, chaos, boss encounters, and fast-action foundation and pushing it into something bigger, sharper, and more fully realized.
The goal is to make GraviStar feel like the evolved version of that original energy: more personality, more intensity, more spectacle, and a much stronger identity. We’re putting serious time into the presentation, the pacing, the opening experience, the mission flow, and the looming threat of the GraviStar itself.
This thing is not just a boss. It’s a problem with weapons.
The current target is an end-of-August release on iOS, and production is moving with that goal in mind. There’s still a lot of work to do, but the direction is clear: take what made Retro Assault fun, crank up the attitude, and give players something that comes out swinging.
The GraviStar is coming.
You have been warned.
Phase 3: POGO
After GraviStar, the next major project in motion is POGO.
POGO is a bigger, tighter, more mischievous arcade-style experience built around bold ideas, colorful visuals, and pure old-school-meets-new-school fun. It’s the kind of project that reminds you why you started making games in the first place: a kinetic concept with clever twists, strong personality, and a lot of room to become something special.
Expect more on this once GraviStar has cleared the launch deck.
Phase 4: Frostbite
Frostbite is currently deep in the woodshed design phase, and I’m very excited about where it’s heading.
This will be a survival RPG like nothing you’ve ever played before. Frostbite is all about immersion: a brutally hostile world, unforgiving systems, and an environment that does not care if you live or die.
It will be harsh, beautiful, relentless, and somehow, you’ll love every minute of it.
Production will come later, but the foundation being laid now is going to be something real special.
That’s the roadmap for Prong Games.
Phase 1 complete. Phase 2 charging weapons. Phase 3 waiting in the wings. Phase 4 looming on the frozen horizon.
Thanks to everyone who’s been along for the ride so far.
The future is sharp, cold, and very pointy.
